

Viewed from a top-down perspective, Combat Cars features 24 tracks in all sorts of terrain ranging from city streets to country roads to mountain trails. Or you can battle it out with your friend in the Head-to-Head mode. You can play Combat Cars by yourself against the five computer-controlled competitors or let a friend join in for some two-player split-screen action. The weapons are: Glue Globs, an Oil Dumper, Anti-Auto Mines, a Power Shotgun, Thick Smoke, Heat-Seeking Missiles, and a couple of Hydro Boosts.After each race and each lap, the top three finishers are awarded prize money which can be used to improve a car's performance, enhance its weaponry, and upgrade its tires. Before you begin a race, you must choose from eight different mean-machines, each of which has a different driver and a different weapon.
